7 on 75 –2nd Annual Contemporary Artists Studio Tour

Seven contemporary artists will open their studios and display their most recent works on Saturday, November 15 and Sunday, November 16  from 10 am – 5pm. This is the 2nd contemporary artist’s studio tour will featuring Frederick County artists. In addition, the local wineries Linganore Wine cellars, is participating in the tour.

Green Valley Rd./Route 75 (Exit 62 off of Route 70) meanders 14 miles from New Market to Union Bridge through the farmland and rolling hills of rural Maryland.

The artists work in renovated log homes, refurbished barns, contemporary developments, and reclaimed commercial spaces. They exhibit their work locally, regionally and nationally. Some create larger works because they have both physical space and visual expanse around them. And you are invited to visit their studios to talk with the artists and view their recent works.

Meander 14 miles along Route 75 from New Market to Union Bridge, Maryland and tour the studios and learn about the art. Works will be available for purchase. You can also visit the participating local wineries, restaurants and stay at local bed and breakfasts if you want to have a weekend of arts in the exurbs. Studio Tour signs will direct you to the artists’ studios.
